Products - Emitter comparison

There are four types of emitters/reflectors to chose from: Standard, Water resistant, High-Power and Powerplus.
Common feature to all of our emitters is the usage highly energy efficient, prime brands LEDs of latest generation with a Lumens/Watt ratio well above 100 (cold white, 5000K). With specialized optics/reflectors these emitters offer an impressive light yield at very low energy uptake and, hence with very little heat dissipation.

== Standardemitter ==

The standard emitter has a light output up to more than 30 Lumen and comes with a homogeneous light spot with a smooth brightness decrease to the edge. The LED is dirently mounted into the reflector and not covered by a lens. The outer diameter of that reflector is 10mm.

For most standard applications the brightness at the spot area is plenty. At a distance from 30mm the brightness has a power of aprox. 12500 Lux, at a distance from 50mm brightness is approx. 7100 Lux and at a distance from 100mm approx. 3000 Lux.

== Water protected Emitter ==

The water protected emitter sports the identical LED as the standard emitter does. But at this option the emitter is water protected (IP67) by a convex lens and focuses the light to a particularly narrow area (hotspot approx. 35°). The outer diameter of this emitter is 13mm.

The distance between emitter and object is ideally at about 30mm. The light spot at close distances (up to about 50 mm distance) is very homogeneous, bright and rather sharply edged (spot diameter approx. 30mm at 50mm distance). With increasing distance (emitter objekt distances above 50mm) the spot becomes increasingly inhomogeneous and shows a distinct ring forming.
The brightness the brightness has a power of aprox.16000 Lux at 30mm distance between object and emitter and 8500 Lux at a distance of 50mm. This emitter is ideally suited for operation on aquatic or particular small objects with the requirement of least adventious light. Due to the glass lens the colour spectrum is a little more greenish compared to the standard emitter. Note however, that only the emitter is water protected - not the rest of the light source!

Surcharge per emitter: 5,95 EUR (incl. VAT).
Available for HLQ basic, HLQ 1 and HLQ 2.

Light spots of the standard emitter and the water protected emitters at distaces of 30mm and 50mm. Projection frontally to white plastic, exposure time 1/500s, ISO 400.

== High-Power Emitter ==

The high end solution! This version features a high power LED of highest efficiency and a very straight cooler (outer diameter 12mm only!). The emitted light has a power of more than 100 Lumens, the special optics focus this light to a particularly homogeneous and narrow spot (approx. 32°) with steady brightness decrease to the edge. With this emitter brigtness at the spot gets about 5 times as high as with the standard emitter and reaches a power of more than 15000 Lux at a distance of 100mm.

This emitter is the right choice for all applications that demand an extremly high brightness. At maximum brightness cooler and protecting lens will get only 10°-15° warmer than ambient temperature.

Surcharge per Emitter: 79,90 EUR (incl. VAT).
Available for HLQ 1 only.

== Powerplus Emitter ==

Just like the High-Power Emitter the Powerplus-Emitter features a high power LED of highest efficiency and a very straight and tiny cooler (outer diameter 12mm only!) The optics focus the light to a particularly homogeneous and narrow spot (approx. 32°) with steady brightness decrease to the edge. The brigtness at the spot of this emitter is about three times as high as with the standard emitter .
This emitter is the ideal choice for very light demanding applications. The cooler will not get warmer than ambient temperatur plus 20°.

Surcharge per Emitter: 59,50 EUR (incl. VAT)..
Available for HLQ 1 and HLQ 2.
